Storytellers All: Keeping the Oral Tradition Alive in Belleville


The library warmly welcomes all aspiring and experienced storytellers to come listen, share and learn about the art of storytelling. On Saturday, April 28th beginning at 2 pm (board room), the library will host the fourth meeting in our series of free workshops to assist local storytellers hone their craft. Led by professional storyteller Micki Beck, attendees can share the magic and power of storytelling.
 

Join us at the Belleville Public Library for one of our Monthly Book Clubs. The Afternoon Book Club meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 2:00pm to 3:00pm in the Seminar Room on the second floor. The evening group meets on the last Mondayof each month from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at the fireplace on the main floor of the library. All are Welcome!


Computer Workshops for Older Adults

The Information Services Department is pleased to offer FREE Computer Workshops for Older Adults. These will be single session workshops covering one topic. Classes are 90 minutes. Pre-registration is required for all classes and enrolment is limited. For information on times or to register please contact Information Services on the second floor of the library or call 613-968-6731 Ext. 2237. Priority will be given to those who have not previously taken the classes.
