Join us at the Belleville Public Library for one of our Monthly Book Clubs.  The Afternoon Book Club meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 2:00pm to 3:00pm in the Seminar Room on the second floor. The evening group meets on the last Monday of each month from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at the fireplace on the main floor of the library. All are Welcome!

Writer & Author Series

Writers United is an innovative forum for writers to network and discuss their work with other writers. The meetings will take place the second and fourth Wenesday of each month running year round.

If you are a new, local or established writer we welcome you to participate in our Evening Author Series. This will be a great opportunity to discuss and promote your work.

Gallery Exhibits

The art galleries play host to many interesting and educational exhibits for you to enjoy free of charge.
Aside from outstanding exhibits of art and fine craft, the gallery offers a variety of programs, workshops and seminars on arts-related topics; talks about and for artists, music and theatre performances are some of the events you can find happening here. So come in to explore, enjoy and discover a whole new world here in Belleville!

The library is partnering with the Quinte Film Alternative to begin showing monthly documentaries. These films will vary in topic from environmental issues to artistic profiles and current world events. We will also host a discussion period after each film if we have time. Admission is by donation. Check out our Programs & Events calendar for specific show times.

We welcome a new collaboration with Loyalist College Job Connect in offering you a range of employment services.
