** If you are going to bring more than 5 kids to our storytime, please phone us (613-968-6731) one week prior to your visit to see if we can accomodate them or not.
 
Saturday programs:
This fall we are trying something new with our Saturday morning programs. Every other week we will have a 10:30 a.m. program for 5-8 year olds, or 8 and older groups. plan now to come and get in on the storytime, crafts, games and other theme
related activities. Saturday fun for the family!
 
Sat. Nov 15th: Puppet show " Cinderfella", a country version of Cinderella by Alistair Camelford 11:00 a.m.
Sat. Nov 22th: Music for young children with Deborah Morgante  2-5 yrs old 15 max. Pre-registration required
Sat. Nov 29th: Magic Tree House 8-10 yrs
Sat. Dec 6th: "Charles Dicken's A Christmas Carol"  with Anthony Mann and Children's 2nd annual Christmas Open House.
Sat. Dec 13th: Polar Express 8 & up
Sat. Dec 20th: Polar Express 5-8 yrs
 
P.A Day ctivities: 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 28th
Make your own Christmas cards for someone special. Also enjoy Christmas crafts.
 
Letter to Santa
Do you want to receive a letter from Santa this Christmas? Then you should write to Him first. From November 10th, the Children's department will be your post office to delievery your letter to Santa. Please come in and drop the letter in the mailbox.
 
Win a surprise Chirstmas Gift
For each book read, you can enter your name for a draw. Write the title of each book read to help decorate our Christmas tree. Read more and come to the library to be one of three luckiest. Draw will be held on December 20th.
 
Family Concerts are returning for 2009
We are pleased to present two new and fun-filled performances from Jeunesses Musicales of Canada.
" Friestango: a fun look at the Tango" Sat, Jan 24th, 2009 11:00 am & 1:30 pm
" Skarazula: Medieval music adventure" Sat, Feb 14th, 2009 11:00 am. & 1:30 pm
Tickets go on sale Monday, Nove 17 at the library, Children's and Yoth services.
Tickets : $5 (all ages)  Under age 2 is free.
