Library Tour & Class Visit

Library tour / Class Visit
The children's and youth services always welcome class visits or any group tours.  We are happy to offer a library tour, storytime, activities for daycares, primary & junior classes, and for other kids' organizations or groups. To book your visit, please complete the online form below.

What we offer during your visit
  • Tour of the whole library including the art gallery
  • An introductory presentaion about the children's area
  • Explain how to get a library card & how to check out books
  • Theme program with stories & crafts & activities
  • Kids own reading time & eating their own snack
Regular class visit

We will book your class in for regular visits to the library for every 3, 4 or 5 weeks.  Each student or teacher will be expected to get a library card if they plan on taking books out of the library.  The books will be due back on the date of the planned visit.  Students/teachers will be responsible for ensuring that the books come back on time.  If the visit gets cancelled or post-poned it is the teacher’s responsibility to ensure that either the books get returned or renewed until the next available date.

We are planning to offer different programs in every month to make their visit fun and interesting each time ( introduction of book genres, stories & crafts on each theme)

Art Gallery Tours

The Art Gallery offers tours of and talks about the current exhibitions. During longer visits the Gallery will plan an activity relevant to the exhibit and geared to the age group of the students.

How to book

Please complete the online form below. Submitting the online booking form doesn't necessary mean your booking is confirmed. You will be contacted via email.
Remember, you should inquire to book at least two weeks prior to the actual date you’d like to come in. Depending on our staffing and our own programs, we may ask you to change your date of visit.
