Belleville Public Library has been in its new location at 254 Pinnacle Street for four years. To mark our 4th anniversary, we are planning a wealth of activities and events, so drop in during the last week of May to discover what your public library has to offer!
Fines Amnesty May 24th to May 29th
If your spring cleaning has unearthed a few long-forgotten library books, don't despair. The Library is having a fines amnesty from May 24th-May 29th. Any Belleville items (not Quinte West) which are returned during this period will be accepted with no overdue fines charged and no questions asked.

10:30 a.m. in the Courtyard – Children's Performer, Mary Lambert
Mary Lambert's "Monkey See, Monkey Do” is an outdoor, interactive concert and guaranteed to be loads of fun! Bring a cushion to sit on and lots of energy for dancing!
2 p.m. in Gallery 1 "What the Thunder Said” read by Lt.-Col. John Conrad
Lt.-Col. John Conrad was Commander of the logistics battalion supporting Canadian Troops in Kandahar in 2006. His new book "What the Thunder Said” is a raw and honest account of logistics soldiers working in quiet desperation to keep battle lines moving under extreme conditions. Get a new perspective on the Canadian Campaign in Afghanistan from one who was there!
